
Savills advises Emons on its logistic network expansion in the Czech Republic
The hub is Emons’ second logistics centre in the wider Prague region, the first being Mstětice on the D11 and its tenth branch in the Czech Republic. The company has now leased almost 25,000 sq m of warehouse space in the country.
Ulf Kühnreich, Managing Director of Emons Czech Republic and Emons Slovakia, says: “The opening of the logistics centre in Ostředek is a key strategic location and completes our network in the Czech Republic. It allows us to expand the range of warehousing services for our customers and increase our distribution network’s capacity.”
Located 34 kilometres southeast of Prague, the new logistics centre meets the latest standards for warehousing operations and also provides access for gigaliners (25 m+ long transport vehicles). This enables Emons to distribute its clients’ shipments at lower operating costs and with less environmental impact.

Locations along the D1 motorway southeast of Prague are a typical centre of gravity for distribution flows, especially for consumer goods. This has undeniably contributed to Emons’ decision to open its terminal here.”
