The price of land is affected by their critical shortage

Land for the new construction of industrial and logistics parks in the Czech Republic is decreasing. Developers are thus looking more and more at locations that they paid minimal attention to in the past. Opportunities can be large plots of land after former industrial production or mining. “Thanks to their size, large halls of over 100,000 square meters can be built on them. With them, the Czech Republic can attract large foreign investors and better compete with Poland and other countries,” says Ondřej Míček, senior consultant for industry at the consulting company Savills.
